Aptt Law LLC will take every effort to secure information and documentation sent to us through the Website E-Mail system by encrypting such communications and storing documentation offsite. Aptt Law LLC is committed to securing your data and keeping it confidential. Aptt Law LLC has done all in its power to prevent data theft, unauthorized access, and disclosure by implementing the latest technologies and software, which help us safeguard all the information we collect online.

The Aptt Law LLC Website was built with full consideration for the Security and Privacy concerns of every individual. Aptt Law LLC is proud of the innovations created in order to protect the data and personal identities of our clients. These innovations are found throughout every component of the Website. Security and Privacy are secured by a combination of employing the correct technology, proper system design and architecture, as well as strict policies and procedures consistent with applicable data protection laws. 

• Firewalls– All the Website equipment and applications are secured behind Firewalls. Firewalls are security devices that create a barrier between the wide-open Internet and the equipment and applications used by the Website. Firewalls limit ways that can inflict harm on data, equipment, or application. All access to the application network must pass through these firewalls. An additional layer of protection is created by implementing additional firewalls to secure access to the Portal from the application servers. 

• Intrusion Detection– The entire production network is automatically monitored and policed for intrusion attempts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any attempts detected are analyzed to determine the identity of the intruders and the extent of the intrusion. 

• Stata Security – Every client’s account data is stored and transmitted in an encrypted format at all times across multiple, distributed database systems, all securely housed at GoDaddy, a leading Internet server hosting service provider that provides enhanced physical security, fire protection and electronic shielding for the systems that businesses use to conduct electronic commerce transactions.

• Audits and Inspections– The Website security infrastructure is regularly audited and inspected to ensure the security tools utilized are up to date.

• Physical Security– Website equipment is located in a secure Class A data center, where security personnel monitor the system 24 hours a day. Portal restricts physical access to our equipment to a very select group of authorized personnel only. 

• SSL – All information is transmitted through Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which creates an encrypted connection between a user’s browser and the Website servers. This prevents information from being stolen while it is being transmitted over the Internet. Aptt Law LLC uses Verisign, a recognized industry leader in security technology, to provide this service. As a Verisign Secure Site, users who access the Portal can trust that its identity has been validated by Verisign. 

In the unfortunate event of a data breach, Aptt Law LLC will notify users of the nature, extent and possible consequences of said data breach via email and letter.
