Attorney Aptt is the founder of Aptt Law, LLC.
Mr. Aptt has been practicing law since 2014 and worked for a sophisticated corporate and real estate law firm on a range of complex matters including general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, employment, construction law, real estate, and trust litigation.
He has engaged in general civil litigation with a focus on representing individuals and small business with the full range of employment and business law issues, insurance coverage, tort, contract and employment law.
Mr. Aptt has engaged in real estate law where he represented real estate developers with acquiring and divesting of property and lenders on financing transactions. Mr. Aptt has also worked with clients to negotiate and close various commercial transactions to include asset and membership purchase and sales and close private placement equity rates.
Since 2020, he has served as private counsel to high-net-worth families with over $300 million in business and real estate assets and serves in a fiduciary capacity for a high-net-worth family’s descendants in a real estate investment LLC. It was his experience with high-net-worth families that inspired him to bring a high level of estate planning and business succession planning at attainable rates to families during all phases of life. Mr. Aptt believes in taking a personalized approach to ensure that each client’s unique needs and wishes are fully reflected in their estate plan.
Geoff graduated magna cum laude from Rhode Island College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He was a member of the Psi Chi national honor society for psychology majors and was nominated for the merit-based Psychology Department Faculty Award.
He graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2014, where he was an Assistant Editor for the Roger Williams University Law Review. He graduated within the top sixteen percent (16%) of his class and was a recipient of the CALI Award for the Highest Grade in Contracts.
When not working, Geoff enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys, whom he coaches in basketball. He is active in his local church and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
